 Looks like 111/mg.reserve jeager regt.74. Most of these ww1 lugers were sent to machine gun units. 1912 is a rare date. Only 10,000 lugers were produced from 1910-1918 and these have no lug attachment for a shoulder stock and no hold open catch. This one is all matching except the nice nickel clip. Someone has defaced the unit marking & the proof marks on the front right side of the slide. Nice straw,the rest of the guns finish shows plenty of age. Bore is squeaky clean.
